This iconic plant of the Sonoran Desert is traditionally used to soothe and protect skin. Naturally antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic, it helps cleanse, protect, and restore the skin. Beyond skincare, creosote has also been traditionally used for sore muscles, joint discomfort, and topical pain relief.
The scent of creosote after rain is one of the most distinctive and beloved fragrances of the desert. Its Earthy, resinous scent carries a medicine of its own.
Each batch of my Creosote Salve is made by hand with sustainably harvested Larrea tridentata.

“My son has been dealing with two chronic skin conditions over the past six years. He has been on antibiotics, two different shots, and multiple ointments. None of these have worked as well as this Creosote Salve. Since using it he has not experienced any more painful flare ups, and his conditions remain in remission.” – Sandra
